Thursday is the official opening to this festival. 60.000 enthusiasts come from around the globe to get a first hand glimpse as the skiers fly over the top speeds approach 100 mph (160 km/h) on its “Haneggschuss” the highest speeds on the Fis World Cup circuit.
Friday is the Super combination race and awards ceremony.
Saturday is the world famous ” down hill” race
Sunday Steep as hell…….slalom race……
You want to take the train from Wilderswil.
Arrive in the beginning of the week before everyone else……….Spend the beginning of the week skiing the Scheidegg, First, Schilthorn and Männlichen areas. Ask us about snow shoeing at the Niederhorn in Beatenberg. Or if you brought children……try sledding at the base of the Eiger North face. Outside ice skating at Wengen or Muerren.
We are located at the base of these ski areas so it is easily accessible to reach a different place throughout your stay.
